Partners
Joyner Elementary is very proud of the relationships they've built with their community partners. The school actively works toward obtaining community resources and invites community members and businesses to help in a variety of ways that can support student learning. Current Partners in Education include:
- California Bank and Trust, City Heights Branch mentors the Joyner manager and employees.
- Ocean Discovery Institute engages, educates, and inspires Joyner students through school-based science instruction.
- Price Charities, founded in 2000 by businessman and philanthropist Sol Price and his wife Helen is a public foundation that supports the Joyner students and community by providing the Children's Integrity Project (CHIP), Dad's Club, and the Success for Life Program.
- SDSU, Athletes for Education inspire, tutor, and mentor Joyner students.
